Our History

KIDZ Creative Concepts was established in 1998, in the Woodlawn community by Delores Farabee. Ms. Farabee lived in the Woodlawn community and recognized a need to help families secure a better future for their children by providing access to quality and affordable child care. Ms. Farabee started in her home as a family child care provider, and later moved into a center-based child care facility along with her partner and daughter Arnell Thornton-Harris.

Ms. Farabee graduated from Jones Commercial High School and attended Kennedy King College where she obtained an Associate Degree in child development.
